i miss it already ):
i feel far too bummed right now to update on what we did.
will do it later.
i had the best time i've ever had since i turned 16.
and yes, i did cry in the car thinking of how i'd miss it.
come to think of it, the most valid reason for me to get so sad was the fact that i finally had to return to the chaotic life which i had initially left. and what a mess i had left it in.
going back to it was just painful. ugh.

we went together through obstacle challenges, river rafting, jungle-trekking and for this, not we, but they, went for hi-lo rope and flying fox. er yeah, i still have yet to encounter great (or even minimal) heights, due to my fears.

everything went on great, from the first day to the fourth.

okay, now onto the details.

1st day:
i started to pack my bag at 2 a.m that morning. i had initially planned to do so the evening before but right after i've taken out everything from the wardrobe, i decided to have a chat on msn, and then i decided to sleep on my bed (which didn't look like one already since instead of having a mattress sheet to sleep on, i was sleeping on clothes). so yes, packed. left home in time for Assunta. we left the place at 10 am. i slept all through out the journey. i sleep better when in motion. it's weird but it's just something i've succumbed to. arrived. bag got checked. went into our rooms! i got into the same room as chyna and vivien. but then atoy and steph decided to bunk in too so yeayy! vivien asked for 5 extra pillows from room service, yadaa yadaa, after lunch, we were divided into our groups. the gimili-ans were initially supposed to be gandalfs but then they had a printing error but being named after a short, fat long-haired screaming dude isn't too bad i guess ((:

first activity was photo hunt! it was alright. we got 4th placing i think. or was it 3rd. but it was fun having to run around chaotically in the rain. team mates from Gimli were Miriam, Carol, Nish, Elena, Doris, Ram, Victor, Agi, Kyle, Praveen &Kavish, the small kiddo who barely talks. that night we stayed up a little later to do our flags, thank god Nish had a design planned so the flag went on alright.

2nd day:
having my mind jumbled up like a beehoon sold in stalls, i'm no good at sequencing so this post on activities is gonna be a little jumbled up. all i remember is that, we had a good time playing the water-in-holed-cups-passed-to-bottles-and-plastics game. we did good in that too! and then we had a short break, and later on was the obstacle challenge! i flew and fell on my back because we had to balance the whole team on a see-saw thing and i was standing straight on the thing when there suddenly was a sudden movement and the part of the see-saw i was on popped up and so did i. lucky thing, even without any lactose consumed for 10 years already or so (except maybe with caffeine), my back was alright &as usual. after the challenges, we were told to build a bridge and lucky the other teams lent us a few secrets so we managed to do the bridge nicely minus the imperfection on the knots. after that, was river rafting!! which was great. we were divided into twoo, and the team i was in, half of the Gimlians, consisted of Miriam, Doris, Ram, Kyle, Agi &I, not forgetting the Rotractor accompanying us, Teng Siang a.k.a Can Sing. we had to build the raft and out raft was build by the dudes from Legolas, the other half of Gimli, the rotractor and even the rotarians. lol. one of the tubes burst in the river and lucky thing, it was the one Teng Siang was on. we had a great time rafting and not forgetting, we were "lucky" enough to get stuck in the middle of no where while rafting and that was when it started to rain really heavily. the burst tube apparently got stuck to a plant underwater and we were stuck there for around 30 minutes, lost in the middle of the Sg. Perak (i think that's what it was). anyways, Kyle &Teng Siang managed to get the tube out from underwater and we were atlast moving. Reached the end soon enough and everyone was already waiting for us. went back to the room, it took Vivien, Toy, Chyna and Steph 20 whole minutes to convince me into taking a bath asap, because they wanted to be in time to catch dinner. took a bath. slabbed a dash of Dettol on my head, went out of the toilet in my towel, screamed. i swear, my hair did smell of Dettol after that incident! dinner went alright, we then had a few other activities lined up along with the TFW baton dude. he is a little lame. scratch the little part come to think of it.

3rd day:
we woke up a little late. bu we were punctual for the programme briefing. had jungle trekking in line for the day. andd, hi-lo rope +flying fox. jungle trekking was something i found pointless in terms of fun but it did teach us a lot on teamwork and taking care of each other's ass. we didn't see anything interesting in the jungle except leaves, Atoy's sole and a caterpillar. i got myself tonnes of cuts from jungle trekking but it's been long since i've got myself cuts so yeah :S as for Hi-Lo rope and flying fox, i skipped those. i didn't think i was able to cope with the height, even though tonnes of the dudes who were afraid of heights still went on with it. i guess i'm just not a dude. du'oh. i don't regret skipping it though (:

Eve of Departing Day:
we had Interactor's Night! it was fun. funny. fun. funny! oookaayy (:
i was very much entertained by performances by all the groups. i really liked Frodo's and Aragorn's. also Legolas'. after the talent night, the hall was turned into a disco-manic-spot, with disco lights filling onto the floor and music to dance too. it went on until 12+, and when the hall was lighted back again, we returned to our rooms. after changing etc, went out and looked for spots to play cards. funny thing was when Atoy, Kyle &I walked down the hallway of Nipah, where there wasn't a single trace of light. well we didn't actually walk, we ran! after 2 rounds of Blackjack, everyone gave in and in the end, the lounge we were playing at turned into a makan place. by around 2 or so, the only ones who were left were Tarsha, Atoy, Chyna, Darsh, Kyle, Sze Ee &I. We decided to play a game to see who would last the longest awake. Mattresses were dragged from Darsh's room to the lounge and Atoy, Chyna, Darsh, Kyle &I were the only ones who managed to stay awake to watch the "sunrise" at the parking lot. we did many funny things to stay awake; eg. styling Kyle's hair with 5 or so different styles using Aloe Gel and rubber bands, courtesy of Atoy. not forgetting gossiping.

Final day:
Atoy, Darsh, Chyna, Kyle &I all went to watch the sunrise from the parking lot. Didn't see much, i guess things never turn out as how you see it in the movies -_- As soon as we reached the lounge, we dragged the mattress back into Darsh's room and Kyle was already dead asleep on the couch. Sean-the-sleeping-orchestra was already gone. and Sze Ee was still asleep. Atoy adn Darsh slept in no time too while China &I decided to take a bath. I took a bath at Darsh's room and i slept on the bed right after the bath. Woke up to Fi walking into the room to pray and i swear i felt lost, not knowing where i was. Went out to the lounge and when the rest was awake, we all went for breakfast. After breakfast, went to the room to continue packing. Realised that we have yet to find the room key we lost. It was attached to my tag and the tag was missing. Looked, looked. No trace of it. Went down for farewell ceremony thing. Sang Auld-Lang-Syne hand-in-hand together, hugged everyone, thanked people, took photos. Went back to the room to continue looking for the key. Found it. In my bag . .. :D We were given the choice to pick the buses we wanted to ride home on. The bus i was on had people from all 6 schools. How sweet ((: Everyone slept well, i guess. We were just really tired after not sleeping that night. Eat, sleep, talk, Kyle's hair &then we departed ways ):

I had a good time having to not keep in mind of the chaotic life i had left behind.
Being back sucks big time, but i guess i'll just have to face the not-so-sweet reality of life (:
